Jass is a member of one of my favorite local bands here in KCMO. I've seen them play a couple of times, always with great energy. This experience was no exception to the rule. I was ridiculously amped in the time leading up to the performance, and throughout.
True to form, Jass and the crew did not disappoint. And it blew me away that each band member played multiple instruments. They regularly rotated between piano, guitar, and drums throughout the set. Jass even broke out a flute a couple of times.

Now if they're already in your musical rotation, I consider that great. If they're not, give em a spin, you won't be disappointed. I've also included a couple bits of video in the gallery, so keep your eye peeled for those. Not once have I seen them perform, without feeling transfixed at some point, and transformed thoroughly by the show's end. I wanted you to experience that, and a bit more, thus the video.
